Black Friday – just after 5 am at the Wal-Mart store in Valley Stream [Long Island] New York one employee was Trampled to Death by a Stampede of Fanatical early morning shoppers who Broke the Doors down. The male worker was taken to a local hospital and by 6 am was pronounced dead at 34 years of age.
Shoppers around the country lined up early outside stores for Black Friday bargain hunting. Best Buy opened at 5am offering specials like a 49-inch Panasonic plasma HDTV for $899.99 – Toys ”R” Us was offering up to 60 percent discounts from 5 to 10am
Particularly with this years economic meltdown the day after Thanksgiving is an important preview of people’s willingness to spend for the christmas holiday shopping season. This is a Hit & Run mentality – Run In [Grab the Deal] Run Out.
One Young Lady made a nice haul at Wal-Mart for $8.58 Good Going. Happy Holidays All.
